The main reason for becoming a member of the IT History Society is
to show your support for IT History. Anyone, whether a member or
not, can go to the ITHS web site for information or attend an ITHS
conference.
The principal tangible benefits of becoming a member, whether
you are an institution or an individual, include eligibility:
- to have your current or past projects profiled on the Projects
and Profiles section of the ITHS web site,
- to submit your projects to the ITHS archival or historical
advisory for possible funding.
There are three kinds of membership: individual, corporate,
and public sector. There is no cost to join ITHS for any of
these categories of membership.
Privacy Statement:
We will list on the web site the names of corporate and public
sector institutional members, and the name and institutional
affiliation of individual members. We will gather other standard
contact information such as institutional representative, email,
telephone, web site, and mailing address - but none of this
information will ever be posted on the web site. We will use
the mailing lists we collect only for the purpose of sending
occasional information about events and other news of the IT
history community. We will not sell our mailing list or let
other organizations use it.
In order to become a member or update your membership
information, simply fill out the appropriate form
listed below. The only required fields are first name, last
