Arkis BioSciences is a medical device company providing minimally invasive surgical instrumentation and advanced implantable technology.

Arkis BioSciences provides advanced subcutaneous guidewires for neuro- and plastic-surgeries as well as groundbreaking catheter technology for treating intracranial hypertension arising from hydrocephalus, traumatic brain injury, and similar disorders.  Located in Knoxville, Tennessee, Arkis began operations in 2013 to serve the market with the world’s first Single Pass Tunneling Guidewire for less invasive neurosurgical procedures. Building upon this technology, the company expanded its line of guidewires by introducing its Subcutaneous Guidewire for supporting pain management and plastic surgery implants. Arkis plans for further introduction its new CerebroFloTM EVD catheter with Endexo ClotGuard technology (currently 510k pending). The Arkis’ team is inspired to challenge the status quo by developing new and clever solutions to unanswered problems, while creating less invasive and more durable patient treatment options.
