Backive

Backive is an amazon-cloud-based file management solution for storing, distributing and archiving data.

We named it Backive because it’s a mix of backup and archive. It can be used for longer-term off-site backups, and for archiving inactive data, to make space on your main storage array and meet regulatory requirements. You can choose to run it in Public, Private and Hybrid-Cloud configuration. Backive is highly cost efficient. You can start with the cheapest option of archiving 1TB for only $10 a month. Then, you can scale up and down on demand, and seamlessly move data from more expensive AWS S3 storage to cheap AWS Glacier, or vice versa. Backive is the only browser-based cloud storage application in the world that lets you upload thousands of files and hundreds of folders at the same time. There are no limits on the file size or type. Thanks to our proprietary MCMP (Multi-Channel, Multi-Part) technology, you can make full use of your entire bandwidth, up to 10Gbit per second. You can choose between uploading your files to reduced-redundancy storage for short-term retention, to high-redundancy storage for medium-term retention and active use, or to highly cost-efficient archive storage for very long-term retention.
