Baycloud Systems develops scalable cloud based systems that address the problem of disempowerment and loss of respect for human rights as a result of rapid technological change. CookieQ is a platform for the acquisition and maintenance of user consent for the use of their personal data. This lets visitors opt in to or opt out of cookies and other data used for tracking them from your web site. It remembers your visitor's cookie consent status between visits and removes first-party cookies and local DOM storage from their browser unless they have opted in. CookieQ manages the ability of embedded third-parties to create cookies and other behaviour that needs user consent under European and International privacy and data protection law. Baycloud Systems is not connected to the behavioural advertising industry and does not, and has never collected, sold or used personal data (other that of our customers for marketing purposes and then only with their explicit consent). We have been an active member of the W3C Tracking Protection Working Group since 2012.
