In 1999, Savvis was acquired by Bridge, and our network was combined with Bridge's network. In February 2000, Savvis completed an initial public offering (IPO) for the combined entity. Savvis used part of the proceeds of the IPO to acquire the network and computing assets of Bridge, and entered into an agreement to provide network services to Bridge and its world-wide client base. Also in 2000, Savvis launched the Intelligent IPSM networking product suite.
