Company Description
Travis Software Corp. invented the COBRA software industry in 1986, shortly after the passage of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act that created the requirement of private employers to continue offering health coverage to former employees under certain circumstances. As the creator of COBRA software, Travis has the most experience in the industry. We use this experience to produce feature-rich, functional, flexible, and cost-efficient systems.
In 2009, Lauren Williams, the daughter of Travis' founder and CEO Alan Williams, joined the company to take over the day-to-day operations of the company. Lauren began her career as an ERISA/Employee Benefits attorney and brought with her the ability to review, interpret, and modify the systems as needed for the ever changing laws and regulations in the industry. The new customer-centered focus, along with the additional expertise of an in-house attorney, distinguishes Travis from others in the industry.
