Virginia Health Food Ltd was founded by Helen O’Dowd, Naturopathic Nutritionist and Food Science graduate who saw a market gap for health foods targeted at consumers who wish to maintain health through food and lifestyle. The company supplies all the major retailers in Ireland with milled seed and berry products, and exports to the UK, Germany and Bahrain. A range of gluten-free bread mixes under the Helen’s Brilliant Bread range has been listed in 150 Sainsbury’s stores. Innovation is the key driver of the company’s business. All products are developed, milled, blended and packed in Ireland.
