Washington Square News is an independent student newspaper of New York University that covers categories such as news, features, arts, sports, opinion, multimedia, and much more. It is published Monday through Thursday during New York University’s academic year, except during university holidays, vacations, and exam periods. The newspaper is distributed to more than 100 locations in Manhattan and reaches about 60,000 students, faculty, staff members, and residents of its community.
