Based on a user-centered design philosophy, the company conducts research on organizational communication goals and audiences, usability studies, listening labs, card sorts, business analysis, email marketing, usability testing, rapid prototyping, live and A/B testing, Agile UX, and interviews in order to build its products. Webitects utilizes Microsoft technologies, including ASP, ASP.Net, and MS SQL Server, for its website development processes while using Ruby on Rails for its web application development processes. It deploys browser-based, customizable content management system (CMS) for most of its projects. Webitects was founded by Todd Reifenrath in July 1995 and is based in Chicago, Illinois.
