It partners with educational, cultural, and philanthropic institutions, as well as public agencies, to present free public events and conferences in cities across the U.S. and beyond, and to publish daily journalism, which is syndicated to 185 media outlets nationwide. Zócalo Public Square was founded by Gregory Rodriguez in 2003 and is based in California, United States. It is an affiliate of Arizona State University.
