Hardware Description

This modern and powerful system board is equipped with Socket-A slot for 462-pin PGA processor. The system memory supports up to 1GB using VCM or DIMM technologies via two 168-pin DIMM sockets. The system board is equipped with 1 universal AGP slot (AGP is an interface designed to support high performance 3D graphics cards). The system board is also equipped with 1 dedicated PCI slot, 1 shared PCI/ISA slot and 1 AMR slot (AMR (Audio/Modem Riser) is an interface designed for installing an audio riser card, modem riser card or audio/modem riser card that is compliant to the AMR specification). One floppy drive interface supports up to two 2.88MB floppy drives; the card also boasts one 20-pin ATX power supply connector, one Wake-On-LAN connector, one Wake-On-Ring connector; CPU, chassis and second fan connectors, and three internal audio connectors (AUX-in, CD-in and TAD). Two PCI IDE interfaces support up to four IDE devices - ATA/33, /66 hard drives, ATAPI CD-ROM, LS-120 and ZIP drives. The system board is equipped with an IrDA connector for wireless connectivity between your computer and peripheral devices. It also supports 4 USB ports. Award BIOS is Windows 95/98/2000 Plug and Play compatible and supports SCSI sequential boot-up as well as easy flash EPROM upgrades. The system board comes with a DMI 2.0 built into the BIOS and is capable of monitoring the following system health conditions: CPU/system temperature and overheat alarm; 12V/5V/3.3V/VCORE voltages and failure alarm; CPU/chassis fan speed and failure alarm; automatic chassis fan on/off control; read back capability - displaying temperature, voltage and fan speed.
