Hardware Description

The 2757A was the first disc memory available for use with HP computers. The 2757A provided 3.2 megabits (174,080 words) of storage with a transfer rate of 3 megabits per seconds and an access time of 33 ms maximum. The 2757A-01 was priced at $28,500 and provided 6.4 megabits (384,160 words) of storage.
