Hardware Description
The 9837H was the high-performance graphics workstation of the 200 Series range. This unit came standard with 512K RAM and a 12.5 MHz Motorola 68000 processor. It also came with a high-resolution (1024 x 768 dot) seventeen inch monitor (98781A) and mouse. Like the 9920, the 9837 was a modular, rack-mountable computer, with 15 expansion slots. The 9837 was also known as the 9000 Model 237 and 9000/237. The 9837 was identical to the 9920 except for the high resolution video board plugged into the bottom-most slot of the back plane (this slot was empty in the 9920). The 9837 also had a plug for an HP-HIL keyboard rather than the standard keyboard used on the 9816 and 9920.
