Hardware Description

The Vectra 386N Series were HP's first "slimline" PCs. The series consisted of the 386/16N, 386/20N and 386/25N. These models offered two mass storage shelves (one usually occuppied by a 3.5 inch floppy disc drive) and three ISA expansion slots. Memory was expandable to 16 MB. Part numbers in the 386/16N family included: D2470A, D2474A, D2472A and D2473B. Part numbers in the 386/20N family included: D2480A, D2486A, D2482A, D2483B and D2484A. Part numbers in the 386/25N family included: D2490A, D2496A, D2492A, D2493A and D2494A.
