Hardware Description

The Spectrum 6 build by "match" is a very unusual pong console. It is designed to the limits, it has a game seletor button and two switches: one to power it on and one to define if you like to play the games in one or two player mode. You can play all three games in single player mode - the console was sold as "including 6 games" - Tennis, Hockey and Handball for one or two players = 6 games On the detachable controllers you find a button used to reset the score AND to define the bat size. The controllers are very simple, it is a flat metall plate with "electro-shop" knob and button. The Spectrum6 uses an unusual "high" voltage PSU with DC 18/20 volt. The case design was also used by Grandstand for the "Match of the Day 2000" console.
