Ben Forta

Author of numerous technical books on ColdFusion, SQL, and Regular Expressions, Forta has also served as Senior Technical Evangelist for Adobe Systems, particularly ColdFusion and Flex, and has been the owner of EmTek Systems. He previously worked in a similar capacity for Macromedia and Allaire Corporation, the two previous owners of ColdFusion.

In addition to writing numerous technical books on ColdFusion, SQL, and Regular Expressions, Forta co-authored Adobe's official ColdFusion training materials and certification tests and lectured on application development around the world. Many of his books have been translated into over a dozen languages worldwide.
