Bio/Description

The first woman inducted into the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals Hall of Fame, Trevino co-founded Softtek in 1982 alongside a small group of entrepreneurially minded students. As President and CEO, she grew the company to more than 12,000 employees with 30 offices across Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the United States.

Throughout her career, Trevino earned international recognition as a promoter of the IT services industry, collaborating with various government administrations to advance the nearshore model. In 2009, CNN Expansion Magazine named her one of the most powerful women in Mexico. Her appointment to the Mexico Business Council was significant enough that the organization changed its name from the Mexican Council of Businessmen to reflect her inclusion.
