Bio/Description

Pioneer of the first theoretical approach to systems development practices, Langefors was the first computer scientist to develop a coherent model of the development of computer-based information systems in the early 1960s. This led to the publication in 1966 of his groundbreaking work, Theoretical Analysis of Information Systems. His disciples themselves became major figures in the computer science/information systems domain.
