Cyril J. Yansouni

Vice President and General Manager of the Personal Computer Group at Hewlett-Packard, Yansouni brings over 35 years of experience in the technology industry. He received his B.S. degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louvain, Belgium and his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He joined Hewlett-Packard Company in 1967 and remained until 1986, serving in a variety of technical and management positions, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of the Personal Computer Group.

From October 1986 to December 1988, he served as President of Convergent Technologies, LLC. He joined Unisys Corporation in December 1988 and remained until February 1991, serving in various senior management capacities, most recently as an Executive Vice President.

He has served as Chief Executive Officer of Read-Rite Corporation, a supplier of magnetic recording heads for data storage drives, and as Chairman of the Board from March 1991 to June 2003. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of Scion Photonics, Inc. Yansouni served as a Director of Tyco Thermal Controls (formerly Raychem Corporation) from 1994, and has served as a Director of Informix Corporation.

He has served as Corporate Director of Solectron Corp. from January 7, 2004. Yansouni served as Independent Director of Tektronix Inc. from August 2003 to November 21, 2007 and served as its Lead Director. He has served as a Director of PeopleSoft Inc. from 1992 and of Read-Rite Corporation from March 1991 to June 2000.
