Professor Gordon B. Davis

Established research and teaching in MIS at University of Minnesota in 1967. Authored and co-authored foundation texts in the discipline. Played major role in establishing University curricula in MIS and IS. Tutored generations of reserach students who in their turm became leaders in the IS disicpline. Received numerous awards for his service to MIS including the prestigous LEO Award of the Association for Information Systems
