Atracsys focuses on delivering turn-key solutions.

Atracsys was established in 2004, capitalizing years of research at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). Its name is an acronym for Advanced Tracking Systems, and that's what Atracsys started out with: developing high-precision optical measurement solutions for medical surgery. In 2007, upon an increasing demand to apply its technological optical expertise in touchless interaction and multi-touch systems, Atracsys created a new department called Interactive Solutions. Both departments Measurement Solutions and Interactive Solutions grew in parallel and a decade later, in January 2017, the company was officially split in two: Atracsys LLC, dedicated to the Measurement Solutions business. Atracsys Interactive SA, dedicated to the Interactive Solutions business.
