Atwell Aerospace was formed in 2008 by a team of professionals who are passionate about engineering and aviation. In 2014 their core business focus was shifted to better align itself with the emerging unmanned aerial vehicle industry. They use unmanned aircraft (senseFly eBee) to capture small to medium areas and manned helicopters to capture large areas of high-resolution digital imagery. This digital data is processed into high value information that solves problems across a broad spectrum of industries. Their high-value digital analytics produce accurate, efficient, and timely data for a variety of survey, monitoring, and inspection requirements. Their unmanned aircraft operate under the Transport Canada regulations exemptions and under a special flight operating certificate (SFOC), when required. Their unmanned aerial vehicle pilots must hold a private pilot license at a minimum.
