WiniCabs is the worlds first location based taxi dispatch service, set up by Paul O'Loughlin Kennedy.

WINIcabs, the world's first fully automatic, location-based taxi dispatch system, receives the customer’s location with their phone call and re-routes the call to an available taxi driver who is nearby. Once they have spoken and agreed the collection point, the WINI system dispatches a text to the customer giving the driver’s name and the car make, model, colour and license number, offering unparalleled security for the passenger. At the end of the journey the fare can be paid by cash, credit card or, if approved by the operator, charged to the customer’s mobile phone bill
