Company Description

6th Wave Innovations Corporation makes nanotech polymers called MIPs: Molecularly Imprinted Polymers.

6th Wave Innovations Corporation makes nanotech polymers called MIPs: Molecularly Imprinted Polymers. This technology allows manipulation of matter at the molecular level; specific molecules can be detected and/or captured. The first product detects explosive residue: it's essentially a handi-wipe that changes color when wiped on a surface that has touched explosives. This product is in production and is sold to first responders and anti-terrorist government agencies. We will have revenue of over $1M from this product in 2014, and expect to hit close to $20M by 2018. The second product is aimed at the gold mining industry; it is polymer beads which capture gold out of solution, such as the gold-rich liquid leached from soil in mining operations. This product will save about 30% of the $70 billion that the gold mining industry spends each year on recapturing that gold, and it will recover another $5 billion that is lost in imperfect recovery methods. Sales for this product are expected to start in 2015 and reach over $40M by 2018. There are many other products to be created with this technology, but the company intends to focus on the two above until resources permit. A full list of the products on our roadmap is available to investors upon request. We have raised about $750,000 through conventional means (management, friends and family), and we are seeking another $1,000,000 through crowdfunding.
