Aira is on a mission to give blind people capabilities similar or greater to sighted people, the freedom to independently do the things that most people take for granted every day. We’ve built a service that leverages the convergence of technologies like miniaturized sensors, wearables, widespread bandwidth and human-assisted AI to power an intelligent Aira platform. It’s an information utility that gives greater mobility and autonomy for the blind and visually impaired. Aira’s platform provides an alternate rich “interaction” with the physical world using auditory perception. As a result, the technology that Aira is building today, applying to the blind, will directly impact how humans enhance their auditory perception capabilities, and thus their multi-tasking skills.
