Always Innovating is a consumer electronics hardware design company based in San Francisco, California.

Always Innovating creates innovative products and concepts. In March 2009, Always Innovating introduced the first netbook with a detachable keyboard to be transformed into a tablet. It featured a touchscreen with a 3D user interface, internal USB slots, and 10-15 hours of battery life. In September 2010, Always Innovating introduces the Smart Book which is the evolution of the Touch Book and provides similar features with better performance. Additionally, the Smart Book is the first device to feature an extractable MID (Mobile Internet Device) out of the tablet. Always Innovating products also offer the ability to switch between multiple Linux OS at run-time without reboot and without any performance loss.
