Aqaya is a hybrid social enterprise that builds platforms for the 'rising billions' in the next billion domain. It has two organizations under its banner: Aqaya EXIM Pvt Ltd (AEPL) and Aqaya Source Foundation (ASF) and both of the arms are focused on building sustainable models for digitization of rural communities. ASF aims to train and skill artisans, by adopting rural communities and providing them with basic necessities (to enable commerce and micro-finance), while AEPL engages with ASF to sell manufactured artisan-made products via various sales channels. The mission is to create prosperity through empowerment and promote human and societal flourishing.
