He composed the Al-Qānūn fī al-ṭibb (The Canon of Medicine), which is among the most famous books in the history of medicine. Indeed, it became the preeminent source which had an influence over Europe’s great medical schools extended well into the early modern period. Avicenna Oncology aims at influencing the history of medicine at the same level with its vision .
