Company Description
Betterpath provides leading edge solutions for individuals, caregivers and organizations to capitalize on the digital health revolution.
The problem, explained to a 10 year old: 'If you do a book report and only read 20 out of 100 pages, are you going to get a good grade? Probably not. What if you wanted to read those other pages, but someone had already ripped them out one by one and scattered them all over town? THAT would make it very tough to read the whole book. Now imagine this book is the story of you; every time you get sick, or go to the doctor, a bunch of pages are written -- but as you get older, more and more of the filled pages get torn out and scattered just like the other book. If a doctor wanted to do a book report about you, but most of your pages weren’t in your book, would they do a good job? Probably not. Betterpath finds those missing pages and reattaches them into your book, so doctors can get your entire story, and along with everyone else’s, learn as much as they can about all of us. To help sick people get better faster, their books need all their pages - without them, we’re only getting part of the story.' Betterpath’s mission is create a single platform where you can access all of your medical data. To get there, we developed The Recap: everything about you, indexed, searchable, and transformed to provide you with a cohesive view of your health. The Recap connects all your health records from all your care providers into a digitized summary of facts individually pertinent to you. Armed with a Recap, you become the expert in your own health, and can share that expertise with providers and caregivers to design individualized intervention plans. Add in your wearable, genomic, therapeutic and self-reported data, and the Recap becomes the most holistic personal health record (PHR) available today.
