The company’s core activities include campaigning and lobbying the EU institutions in the consumer interests and providing feedback to its members on EU developments in this field. It has membership of 40 independent national consumer organizations in 31 European countries. BEUC acts as the umbrella group in Brussels for these organizations. BEUC was established in 1962 and is headquartered in Brussels.
