Further, the company provides voice over Internet protocol products for carrier-class media gateway, access gateway, and residential gateway markets; software programs to control its configurable devices; product reference design models for hardware and software applications; evaluation boards and reference design; original equipment manufacturer (OEM) product design support; multi-tier applications support; and product technical and design documentation services. It serves public network systems OEMs, WAN and LAN equipment OEMs, Internet-oriented OEMs, and communications test and performance measurement equipment OEMs, as well as government, universities, and private laboratories. TranSwitch sells its products through direct sales force, sales representatives, and distributors.
