Trunkbow currently has filed more than 211 patent applications, of which 68 have been granted by the National Intellectual Property Administration of the People’s Republic of China. Trunkbow was founded in 2001 by former Silicon Valley engineers with extensive experience in the telecom industry. It went public on the New York Stock Exchange on February 3, 2011, earning a total of US$20 million.
