Guitar Instructor (formerly known as Tunessence) offers online instructional content for guitarists of all styles and levels.

Our research-inspired software is the most fun and effective way to learn to play the guitar. The software on our website listens to you as you play and guides you through learning to play your favorite songs. A curriculum of interactive lessons developed with the help of faculty at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Music will take you on a tour through guitar history, including standards in Jazz, Blues, and Rock, so you gain insight and understanding as you progress.
