UmBio is based in Sweden and current customers include Merck, Danisco, Mirka, NeuroSearch, Pfizer, VTT and Arla. UmBio Evince Image, the company's multivariate image analysis software, is a versatile analytical tool that dramatically reduces the time required to reveal the value in online or lab data. UmBio Predict is UmBioâ€s new software and hardware for automatically predicting data from a given instrument in real-time, with an automatic high-performance calculation engine capable of 100% representation. UmBio Industry is a turn-key solution including sophisticated hardware and software solutions to allow the measurement of hundreds of wavelengths in real time with a high throughput hyperspectral camera. This generates high quality spectral data which is automatically analysed continuously in real time. On October 21st, 2009 UmBio recieved 1st Prize in the Metro Tech Challenge, a Swedish competition of startup companies arranged by SiSP and MetroTeknik.
