VerifiedHonest is a simple, internet-based business that solicits consumer reviews of online retailers and helps those retailers protect and build their online reputation by harnessing the power of credible customer feedback and leveraging it into a sales, marketing and customer service asset. Consumers are able to rate these retailers on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. These retailers are able to display their ratings and reviews on their website with a VerifiedHonest badge and widget. The site also lists deals, coupons, special offers, and other sales that are offered at the subscribing stores. Stores may be submitted to VerifiedHonest for approval to their directory for free. However, in order for the store to receive merchant privileges such as the ability to contact the reviewer, they must sign up for a paid membership. These exact membership fees are not disclosed publicly, but are discussed with merchants once they have a free profile on the website. Merchant members who choose to subscribe to VerifiedHonest services are able to receive notifications and contact information about the reviewer, contact the reviewers to resolve any issues, use the VerifiedHonest exit survey in order to generate reviews from customers, contact the VerifiedHonest mediator to mediate any less than satisfactory reviews, use the VerifiedHonest badges and Triangle Of Trust and display their star ranking on Google.
