Veritweet is a real time microblogging service. The idea of Veritweet is based on real users whose real names are used as their usernames. This innovation increases quality of communication between users, virtually eliminating fake or fraudulent accounts. Verification bars show the status of each user – non authorized, verified or authorized, therefore everyone can tell which user has real life identity or not. Veritweet allows its full functionality only to registered and verified users. Every user has to go through authorization process in order to prove their real identity. Besides posting updates, additional functionality is available: pictures and PDF files can be added to posts, posting in other user accounts, live statistics and Twitter synchronisation. Veritweet features allow trustworthy microblogging application in television, media, governmental and commercial establishments.
