Vimicro's chip solutions have been adopted by multinational companies such as Sony, Samsung, HP, Philips, Fujitsu, Logitech, Lenovo, Bird, and ZTE. Vimicro has also established strategic partnerships with China Telecom, China Netcom, China Mobile, China Unicom, and Microsoft, and has carried out many key projects for the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Information Industry, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Ministry of Commerce. The company successfully completed its initial public offering on the NASDAQ Global Market on November 15, 2005, becoming the first fabless chip company from China listed in NASDAQ, and raising US$87 million.
