Journalists whether professional or new entrants into this field, are encouraged to write in a free style coupled with responsibility. Their goal is to provide more space to Development Journalism in order to balance the news content and also to highlight those areas of Their society which get little or no attention due to Their media’s incessant event based reporting. As journalists it is Their responsibility to give equal coverage to the important but neglected segments of Their society. Thus VOJ aims to use Development Journalism as a tool to create an atmosphere of positivity and creativity.
