It serves these communities much like an on-line newspaper, yet as a wiki, any of its readers are allowed to contribute content, or edit any of its 13 million pages. By providing town-specific content and other topical resources including local news, blogs, weather, and classified ads; WikiCity Guides transforms people from content readers to content publishers; allowing local users to enhance their townâ€s pages by adding deep community content that interests them most (i.e. local politics, sports, business directory listings, free classified ads, etc.).
