Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020) – in addition to the private investment that this money will attract. It promises more breakthroughs, discoveries and world-firsts by taking great ideas from the lab to the market. There are many public funding schemes and it is very difficult for an organization to navigate this 'jungle'. Horizon 2020 alone issues over 100 calls per year and other less known frameworks such as IMI, AAL, LIFE also issue their own calls every year. Each call has its own rules and guidelines. We provide you with an overview of the funding instruments and calls available to you, in relation with your current technical and market objectives. We design a funding strategy, combining various instruments during your innovation cycle. We can also identify potential consortium partners for your collaborative proposals. This service is provided free of charge. EC calls for proposal have become extremely competitive under Horizon 2020. Proposals are evaluated by third-party independent experts on a scale of 15 points and a mark between 14 and 15 is now often needed to obtain financing. On average, around 10% of the proposals are financed, but this rate drops below 3% for highly competitive calls such as the SME instrument. We lead the proposal creation, writing and review process, based on our experience (we submit over 100 proposals per year) and track record (~€50M of funding won per year in Horizon 2020). A typical proposal requires 3-6 months of development. This service is provided on a no-win-no-pay basis.
