Hardware Description

First Dimension Video Sports 76 is a dedicated console playing four Pong variants. The console uses the common AY-3-8500 dedicated pong chip which features the following games: Tennis, Hockey, Smash, Handball. Settings allow for changing game speed and deflection angle. The system was manufactured by Video Technology for First Dimension, but did not contain an RF chip or a power supply chip. Instead, two CMOS chips combined the video signals of the AY-3-8500 game chip. First Dimension was already running out of money, so could not afford high quality circuit boards.
