Hardware Description

The 6.5-pound 6000 not only offers both a touch pad and a pointing stick, but truly does it right. Both give precise control, and you can turn either one off, if you like, to keep from moving the mouse cursor accidentally. Best of all, HP provides a set of left- and right-click buttons for each pointing device. Other welcome touches include volume-up, volume-down, and mute buttons on the right-hand side of the system, with a status light to remind you when mute is on.
