German Engineer who designed and built the earliest computer - 1941 - based on Turing's concepts. Followed up with a succession of more advanced models through the 40s and 50s including the Z4 a machine for commercial use. Designed, but did not fully implement the earliest high level language he named PLankalkul. developed early design of computers for Process control. founded his own Computer Business in 1946
