Bio/Description
Overcame the inherent restrictions of early microcomputers to devise a scheme for the attachment of external storage devices via ports that were not originally designed for that purpose. In recent years, USB has made this significantly simpler but, at the time, a parallel-port-connected HDD was a significant innovation.
