Mr. Boštjan Klajnščak

Boštjan Klajnščak begun cooperating with IDC, the acclaimed global provider of market intelligence and advisory services for the information technology markets , in May 2003 as a research analyst and local representative for Slovenia. As a senior research analyst and member of ITS group, he undertakes research on IT Services group, authoring ITS report for Slovenia. With the founding of an IDC subsidiary in Slovenia in 2004, Mr. Klajnščak became the head of the subsidiary, responsible for all IDC operations in Slovenia. Prior to working for IDC, Mr. Klajnščak worked as a freelance journalist, publishing his articles in several leading Slovenian IT magazines, a head of services marketing department in Ljubljana subsidiary of one of the first Slovenian ISPs, Perftech. He also worked as an editor for ICT-focused press agency Agencija NET and as a head of projects at MA Marketing. Mr. Klajnščak holds a Diploma in Systems Theory from Open University, Newcastle – upon – Tyne, and is soon to finish his Executive MBA studies. He is a member of several international associations, such as IEEE, International Federation of Journalists, Društvo Novinarjev Slovenije, Društvo Informatika, and acts as a Member of Advisory Board (Managerial), Scientific Journals International (SJI) In addition to his native Slovenian, he speaks English and Croatian fluently and is proficient in French and Russian.
