I spent ten years as a legislative analyst researching historic legislative and regulatory matters in Colorado. Over the course of those years I really came to appreciate the history of things. I worked for numerous clients in a wide variety of industries and I learned any subject matter was fascinating once you started to learn about this history. I have always been passionate about IT and a few years ago I decided to make my hobby/passion my career and moved into the IT field. Obviously, the history of IT has always been a passion of mine and the more I work with IT the more I appreciate the technology and the path that lead to where we are today. I am fairly new to the IT world from a professional perspective and every day I learn many new things, but to really understand a new technology or concept I find myself spending lots of time on the internet reading about these technologies and how they came about. I just found your site recently and I have to say what a great resource.
