Hardware Description
The RuggedWriter 480 was a 24-pin dot matrix printer with a maximum print speed of 480 characters per second. It had a wide carriage and handled multipart forms. It was marketed as having an unlimited duty cycle and a mean time between failure of 20,000 hours. It was sold as being fast, cheap and rugged.
