Zootool is a visual bookmarking tool that makes it easy to collect, organize and share images, videos, documents, and links from all over the web. It features Twitter, Delicious and Friendfeed integration, supports more than 30 video plattforms, Slideshare and Scribd Documents, has a special reader for Wikipedia-articles and RSS-Feeds and a mobile version for the iPhone. Zootool has been started by Bastian Allgeier as subject of his Bachelorthesis in Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Mannheim, Germany in October 2007. Hartmut Wöhlbier – founder of motor-talk.de – joined the team in March, 2008 when the private beta went online. Since Juli 2008 Zootool has been in a public beta. On January, 15th a whole new version of Zootool has been released.
