Description

Founder board member of the IT History Society and Silicon Valley venture capitalist, Withington began his career as a programmer at NSA in 1953. Over the years he worked for computer makers Electrodata and Burroughs, and has served as a consultant at Arthur D. Little, Inc., where he served as VP-IT.

Withington prepared numerous assessments and forecasts of IT technology and companies, and wrote four books on IT management. Mostly retired, he has remained on three IT boards.
