He was Chairman and President of the computer services company, Computer Sciences Corporation from 1975 to 1994. CSC, based in El Segundo, California, Computer Sciences Corp. is one of the world's largest companies that integrate computer systems manufactured by many vendors. He oversaw the growth of the corporation from a $4-million company to one with revenues of over $4 billion. In October of 1985, it was reported that spurred by strong revenue growth in its three operating groups, second-quarter profit rose 43% over the year-earlier period. Net earnings for the quarter ended September 27 were $4.9 million, up from $3.4 million a year ago. Revenue increased by 22% to $209.3 million from $172 million. He announced the company's quarterly performance "again exceeded our expectations?. In 1993, he was elected as a Director, and Van B. Honeycutt was assigned to the new position of President and CEO. In 1996, he was elected a Director of Eltron International Inc. in Simi Valley, a manufacturer of thermal and thermal transfer printers.
